32nd CHILDREN NATURE STUDY CUM ADVENTURE CAMP - 2016
Dalgaon Ground, near Jhalong under Govt. Ipicac Plantation ,Gairibas.
Modern day concept of adventure and nature study camp is not just a relief from monotony of daily life but a scope and opportunity to be in the mist of nature, know her intensly and to realize the importance of her gifts, which we had not only destraction in the name of developments but also continued the process without being concerned about the eventual utter destruction of humanity. The urban children & youth hardly find any scope to communicate with nature. The “concrete jungle” kills spirit. Earlier man was in direct contact with nature. Thereby perhaps love for nature is something genetic. But pollution, ecological imbalance etc. have become the threats, perhaps because man has become isolated from the nature. To develop the self-confidence and social instincts HNAF has been organizing Nature Study Camp for the boys & girls. This type of outdoor camps provide necessary inspiration and encouragement. When one stands and feels the bounty and marvels of nature, the experience would bring sheer joy of realizing what one can be for one’s life.
